About us


Andy Webb has been a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon at Southampton's University Hospitals since 2003, as well as running a private practice at Spire Southampton Hospital and Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital. He has extensive experience in all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery with particular sub speciality interests in head and neck cancer management, facial trauma & deformity surgery, and salivary gland surgery.


Andy Webb qualified in dentistry at Liverpool University in 1984 and later achieved a Fellowship in Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1987. Originally from London, Andy moved back to continue his studies in Medicine at the Royal London Medical College qualifying with distinction in 1992.

Andy went on to achieve FRCS after basic surgical training at the Royal London Hospital and afterwards embarked on 18 months experience in plastic surgery. He then joined the South Coast Higher Surgical training programme in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (FRCS OMF 2000). Finally Andy completed his training with an 18 month fellowship in craniofacial surgery at the Royal Liverpool Children's Hospital.

Committed to his professional development and with an interest in improving quality and efficiency in healthcare, Andy completed an MBA (Health Executive) degree from Keele University in 2008.

Andy Webb is registered as a specialist with the General Medical Council in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is also registered with the General Dental Council.

Andy's hobbies include skiing, driving, golf and playing blues guitar.
